A Guitarist since age 8 and picking up Mandolin a few years later, It wasn’t long until his interest in 60s & 70s Country bands pulled him towards the Pedal Steel Guitar and Dobro . Playing around the U.K. for a few years CJ cut his teeth playing up and down the country trying to find his feet as a session musician. Things changed when he met Sid Griffin (of the Long Ryders/Coal Porters) who passed his details on to Billy Bragg who was looking to form a new band. In 2013 CJ toured with Billy Bragg and Band promoting the ‘Tooth & Nail’ Album around the USA, Canada, Europe and Australia .
